Challenge Day 5: Shooting Wide Open

This one was pretty easy, since I like to shoot with my aperture as low as it will go.  I'm obsessed with "blurry backgrounds" (which I have now learned is called depth-of-field....she can be taught!!) and bought the 50mm lens specifically because the aperture goes all the way to 1.8.

To try some other fun, I decided to add in spot metering and back lighting as well as custom white balance (all for the first time).  Not my best, but still some cute ones.  I like the warm glow around E from the morning light.  Looking forward to getting outside to try more (as soon as it warms up!!)
